QUEEN AND DUKE VISIT HOME FLEET

See Pathe News Film below, in which I recall I with my band colleagues, had an hectic day, as follows!  Transfer by pinnace to HMS Apollo, underway to sea to escort the Royal Yacht as the Fleet Sailed past giving a 21 Gun Salute, then STERN DOWN and speed into Invergordon, then transfet to HMS Maidstone to do Guard and Band, then transfer to HMS Albion to play for the Concert Party to entertain Her Majesty!  Then on completion, return to HMS Maidstone and sling hammock!  Somehow, we managed to miss the Order, 'Splice the Mainbrace' so how did that happen?  Well, maybe because I was UA at the time?????
